What can't go in an A1 dumpster in Denver?
No. Tires are not allowed in A1's dumpsters. If tires are part of your cleanup, keep them out of the container and ask Aaron what to do with them separately. Do not treat a general dumpster guide as permission to load them; A1's confirmed rule is that tires are excluded.
It helps to sort questionable items before the dumpster arrives. Set tires aside and mention them when you call so the plan is clear. A1's rental prices include 1 to 3 days and an itemized weight allowance, but the tire rule is independent of size or weight. See the size and pricing details and confirm the accepted materials with the company.
Can concrete go in the dumpster?
No. A1 does not allow concrete in its dumpsters. That includes a project where concrete pieces are mixed in with other cleanup material: keep the concrete out and ask before arranging disposal. The business has not provided a separate concrete container option, so do not assume another container can take it.
If you are doing a remodel, driveway-related project, or cleanout and expect concrete, explain that when you call. Ask what options are available for the rest of your debris and whether a different plan is needed for the concrete. The 16-yard and 20-yard rentals are for the project types shown on the A1 sizes section, subject to the material rules.
Can dirt go in a dumpster?
No. Dirt is not allowed in A1's dumpsters. If your yard project includes soil, keep it separate from the material you plan to put in the container. Do not mix dirt into a load and hope it will be accepted because the dumpster has space left; the exclusion applies regardless of unused room.
For landscaping or cleanup work, tell Aaron what you expect to remove. A1 lists landscaping and yard debris among projects for the 20-yard option, but that does not mean dirt is accepted. Ask about any material you are not certain about before ordering. You can start with the quote section or call (720) 338-2178.
What about items that are not on this list?
The confirmed A1 exclusions are tires, concrete, and dirt. That does not make every other item automatically approved. The owner has not supplied a full accepted-material list, so if you have a material that is not one of those three, call or text and ask. This keeps the answer specific and avoids relying on a different company's rules.
When you ask, describe the material plainly and mention whether it is part of a mixed load. If a project includes several materials, list each one that you are uncertain about. A1 serves Denver, Aurora, Arvada, Lakewood, Westminster, and other local communities; the same material question can be answered before you arrange delivery in any of them.
Can I mix accepted debris with a prohibited material?
Keep tires, concrete, and dirt out of A1's dumpster, even if the rest of the project material is acceptable. If your pile has a mix, separate those three items before loading and ask A1 about anything else that is unclear. Do not assume the container can be used for the prohibited portion just because it also contains ordinary cleanup debris.
Planning the separation ahead of delivery makes it easier to know what you can load. While you are calling, also confirm your dumpster size, price, and expected rental period. The 16-yard is $300 and the 20-yard is $350, each for 1 to 3 days. Calls and texts are answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
